After a mountain of battles with wordpress, discovering the ins and outs of themes, widgets, plug ins and everything in between, the self hosting idea has become more and more alluring. The majority of our time as ‘bloggers’ has been spent tirelessly and fruitlessly trying to find a theme that can accommodate our website needs. I came across this commercial today while I was being extremely productive and watching tv. Perfect addition to the website. Ive started a little bit of research four our sustainability website, which finally has a name! “Green your bean. The abc’s of going green.” The idea is for the site to be a very simple, beginners site to what it means to go green. In other words, you can find ways to reduce your energy use, definitions of environmental jargon, links to other websites in the biz, and articles on news, events and happenings in sustaining the world. When starting up a new website, what are some of the most important things to think about?
